![]() ![]() GEM Yeah, we’d probably be here for ages if we really got into the nitty gritty of CPU specs. ![]() RAD Thanks Rockin’ Lachlan! If you’re wondering how much CPU power is recommended for a gaming computer, well, there are lots of variables to consider here and things to weigh up. p.s love the show hope it goes on as long as games do p.p.s gem do these! : °_° ( Name: Rockin’ Lachlan Location: Inside ALL computers State: SA Comments: How much cpu power would you recommend for a gaming computer that can handle a variety of games. Moving along now to a question from Rockin’ Lachlan…who is…Inside ALL Computers… in South Australia. But I’d still recommend playing the original Subnautica first before Below Zero, especially as it’s still in early access. Much of the gameplay is similar, but there are new creatures, features, items and things like that. It’s basically a new chapter in the Subnautica universe, which takes place after the events of the first game. So, you don’t need to have the original Subnautica to play it. Now to the question of whether Below Zero is DLC or a whole new game, well it’s being called a ‘standalone expansion’. RAD Or, you know, just adopt the motto ‘Leave that Leviathan Be’. And create a reliable save point beforehand if you intend on taking one on. Always keep your vehicles somewhere safe before getting close to a leviathan. GEM And remember, Reapers can do lots of damage not only to you, but to your vehicles like the Seamoth, Prawn Suit or Cyclops. You want to be as prepared as possible before attempting a deadly dance with this demon of the deep! Aha! And it’s worth noting that while the stasis rifle does freeze the Reaper temporarily, it can still get you while in stasis if you’re too close to its head!. ![]() and eventually, the Leviathan seems to fall.Any other tips, Darren?ĭARREN Well, aside from always keeping an eye on your oxygen, I'd recommend having reasonably full health, food and water meters too. Then just rinse and repeat this process for a few minutes. ![]() RAD And keep refreshing the stasis when you can so the Leviathan doesn’t get away. Make sure you’re charging that stasis rifle right up before using, it’s much more effective that way. Once you have these things, and you’ve located a Reaper, the method that worked for us was to charge up the stasis rifle as much as possible and let loose at the right time to freeze the Reaper’s head…Then, quickly swim to its underside, charge another stasis shot and use a thermoblade to deal some damage. Now, before trying to tackle the task, you’ll want to make sure you have a stasis rifle and thermoblade at the very least. Facing the Reaper Leviathan in Creative Mode is one thing.but Survival Mode is of course, a whole other kettle of Bladderfish. DARREN But, in order to answer Ask SP questions, must we not be bold? Must we not be brave? Must we not face both the real and metaphorical Reaper Leviathan within us all?! RAD Ahh.kay. And you know, that has worked out just fine for me so far. Now, typically, if I come across any Reaper Leviathans in Subnautica, I simply get out of there as quickly as possible…while screaming and panicking. First, to the question of how to defeat a Reaper Leviathan. DARREN Oh goodie! GEM Right, well thanks for your great questions, Zeb. GEM Hi Darren, we have some emoticons for you… RAD Thanks Darren! And hey, you might as well stick around to help with these Subnautica questions. Darren, do these RAD Alright, some things for Darren. Is Subnautica Below Zero a DLC or a new game? P.S. How do you defeat the Reaper Leviathan in Subnautica? and 2. We’re here to answer questions like the ones from Zeb, sent to us in video form… What ARE numbers really? What is measurement? These are not the questions we’re here to answer. wait, how many gaming questions make up an ‘oodle’? It was having a reaper in the shallows the rest of the game or confront it, didn't even know that they were killable before this.RAD Alright Gem, we have oodles of gaming questions, so we better get started. I was just peeking at the rear of the Aurora, cause i knew you could spot a reaper there without getting in too much trouble as it is so close to the shallows that you can flee any moment.īut when it attacked my submarine it flew into the shallow and wouldnt leave, so i pretty much had to go crazy with my prawn suit which had zero upgrades xD Well it was pure luck i think, and i didnt have much choice when it came to killing it! my game would have ended there for sure, 1 is scary enough. You must have been so unlucky, 3 reapers. I have just collected stuff at the dunes, met 1 reaper again but i went crazy with the decoys and hid at the ocean floor, turned off engine and lights, and gone was he, never saw him again while scavenging that area! ![]()
